> Web3 Afrika is a pan-African community and education platform empowering the next wave of Web3 builders across Africa through education, hackathons, mentorship, and events. It was founded by Idris Olubisi (also known as Olanetsoft).

- **Founder:** Idris Olubisi (also known as Olanetsoft) — software engineer and developer relations expert, widely recognized as one of the leading Web3 voices in Nigeria and Africa.
- **Co-founder:** Tony Olendo.
- **Mission:** make Web3 education open, practical, and inclusive so that no African is left behind in the decentralized economy.
- **Community:** more than 12,500 members across platforms, including over 2,100 developers across Africa.
- **Activities:** technical workshops, hackathons, bounties, X (Twitter) Spaces, conferences, and a technical blog.
- **Partners & ecosystems:** Arbitrum, Polygon, Scroll, Celo, Ethereum, Developer DAO, Web3Bridge, and many others.
- **Region:** Pan-African, with in-person events in hubs such as Lagos, Nigeria.
